| Once a whaling station, Hermanus now boasts the annual arrival of Southern Right Whales and other whale species. Experience the breaching, lob-tailing, flipper waving and other playful behaviour of these magnificent mammals within meters of the shore. Every year the Southern Rights come to these shallow waters to calve, mate and nurse their young. Be entertained by these highly social animals while lunching at one of the many restaurants in this quaint town. |

We return to Cape Town via scenic Clarence Drive which allows us to experience towering mountains, desolate beaches and secluded seaside resorts along the eastern side of False Bay. |
